Bet Ball Number


1 - Red Or Black This bet is very simple, you predict if the number the ball lands on is going to be red or black. Odds are 1:1.
2 - 1-18 Or 19-24 Predict if the number the balls lands on will be in the lower half (numbers 1 to 18) or the upper half (19 to 30) If 0 or 00 shows up then you lose no matter what half you have picked. The odds are 1:1.
3 - Odd Or Even Choose whether you think the number will be odd or even. 00 and 0 do not count. The odds are 1:1.
4 - 1st 12, 2nd 12 or 3rd 12 The numbers are split into 3 sets of 12 and you choose which section the number will be in. 0 and 00 are not included in the bet. Odds are 2:1.
5 - Column 12's The same as the above but the 12 are going downwards so they are not in order. Also pays 2:1.
6 - Number Bet A chip is placed on one number so the only chance of winning is if that number comes out. Odds are 35:1, the highest paying bet.
7 - Corner Bet Chips placed where the corners of 4 numbers meet so if one of the 4 numbers surrounding your chip shows up, you win. Odds are 8:1.
8 - Between Two Numbers The chip is placed on the center of the line in between two numbers. If one of the numbers show up you win. Odds are 17:1.
9 - Two Row Bet Placing the chip here covers two rows of numbers. For example, a chip placed where number 9 is would cover numbers 22 through to 27. Has to be placed on the right hand side on the line between the two rows you would like. Odds are 5:1.
10 - One Row Bet This bet covers three numbers, for instance if you placed a chip where number 10 is on the diagram you would be betting on numbers 19, 20 and 21. Odds are 11:1.
11 - 5 Number Bet The only place to make a 5 number bet on the board. This bet covers 0, 00, 1, 2 and 3. The odds are 6:1.

An easy way to rig a wheel is by ball tripping. A very small diameter hole is drilled in the upper ball track, under the rim. A small, spring-loaded pin is positioned in the hole just below the outside surface. This mechanism is usually set up directly in front of the dealer so it is easier for him to time and harder for anyone else to detect. When the dealer flips a small lever, just under the tables edge, the tension in the cable forces the pin against the spring, allowing it to protrude out slightly onto the ball track. As the ball contacts the pin, it is prematurely tripped out of the ball track. Again, a well-practiced dealer would time the ball drop-off with an impending sector of the wheel head or rotor. Because there is only one trip location from which to knock the ball, the dealer must wait for the right ball/trip point/wheel intersection. A near-perfect alignment is necessary and the dealer must see it coming well ahead of time. The casinos werent the only ones engaging in this technique. One story has a team of players in Nevada, called the soda straw gang, tapping into the tables banks with a most peculiar method of ball tripping. The gang allegedly had one heavy bettor at the center of the table, one trivial bettor on the far end and an observer seated at the wheel itself. The members would take their stations at different times, being careful not to acknowledge each other. The heavy bettor would cover numbers contained on one sector, or area of the wheel head. Just before the ball would fall, the low-roller on the end would create a diversion. The observer, timing the ball and the heavily bet sector on the wheel, would then raise a straw and blow on the ball as it passed to trip it out of the upper track. Supposedly, the gang was so successful that the casinos began installing the now-present glass security shields around the edge of the rulete tables. But dont form a team, buy a box of straws and look for tables without the security shield. If the bosses dont immediately catch you, the cameras most certainly will.Another tripping technique that I have personally witnessed, involves one heavy better placing a black chip on the second column and a confederate standing near the wheel. Incidentally, the second column numbers are concentrated on an area of the rotor centered about the number 26 on an American style wheel. Basic Rules of Play
The dice are tossed from one end of the crapstable to the other making sure that both dice bounce off of the back wall of thetable.

Moving in a clockwise direction, players take turns rolling the dice. TheShooter's first role is called the "Come Out" role. This Shootercontinues to role as long as he or she makes winning roles.

The "Come Out" role is very important in craps in that it establishesthe Shooter's "Point." "The Point" is the number that theShooter must role again before he or she roles a 7. A 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10establishes the point. Rolling a 7, 11, 2, 3 or 12 on the "Come Out"role results in the dice being passed to the next Shooter.

The Puck - This two-sided disc indicates whether or not a game is inprogress and if a "Point" has been established. The puck displays"OFF" and remains on the "Don't Come Bar" until a"Point" has been established by the shooter. The dealer then turns thepuck to the "ON" side and moves it to the numbered location on thecraps table to denote the "Point" number for this shooter.

Betting On Craps

Pass Line Bet - A simple and basic even money bet. You are betting thatthe first role of the dice will add up to 7 or 11. On this bet, a 2, 3, or 12loses the bet. Any other number establishes the "Point." The"Point" number has to be rolled again before a 7 comes up to win,otherwise, the bet is lost.

False logic of the Martingale system Many people become consumed by the seemingly intuitive math behind the martingale roulette system (which can also be applied to other games) The system works as follows: on even money outside bets with a near 50-50 chance, bet once. If you lose, place a bet for twice as much on the same spot. If you lose again, double the previous amounts bet. In the end, the theory is your bet has to win at some point and if you have kept doubling down on losses, the last bet will recoup everything you've lost and add an even money win on the original wager, putting you ahead, if just a little. The logic here is riddled with problems. First of all, in roulette you can't have a pure 50-50 chance bet because of those pesky green pockets. That fact aside, the system would seem like it has some legs, from a logical point of view. What roulette system sellers don't want to you realize is, the casinos have already guarded against any Martingale users by placing table limits on the bets. Ever wonder why there is an upper table limit? Don't the casinos want you to risk large amounts of money? The Martingale system is the exact reason for a table high existing. Following the Martingale method, you keep doubling your bets on a loss, and after a short string of losses in a row your bet is extremely large. From $5, to $10, $20, $40, $80, $160, $320, $OVER the table limit. So on the last bet before you can no longer double, you are putting $320 on the table with a potential for making $5… are you crazy? And what if you lose that last bet, you're out $635 bucks, if you win you're only up $5, ouch. This is a serious flaw in applying any Martingale type system to a casino game with upper table limits. My opinion on any roulette system is the same as my opinion on all other systems. For the most part they do not do what they purport (or say) to do. Now, I'm not saying they are useless, in fact they do usually have a use, and that's to spread your money around multiple bets, which often has the beneficial effect of stretching your money out over a longer period of time. There is no value in attempting to employ a roulette system to 'beat the casino', because if you were smart enough to, the casinos would likely put you to work for them, and that has very little to do with how casinos hire. I have nothing against looking at some more serious attempts to bring the advantage towards the players. One of these techniques is the search for biased wheels. There is some merit to this endeavor. I'm sure a few people have made real money off of a biased wheel, but the effort involved is phenomenal. Casinos spend thousands upon thousands of dollars on a roulette wheel, and don't have any desire to replace it every year. Over a long period of time it's possible that the detailed engineering that went into the roulette wheel's construction has degraded from extensive use. Once this happens, a tilt in the wheel or any one of a million small but consistent anomalies may arise. If you had a computer to measure the exact spinning patterns of a roulette wheel, you could record results consistently and try to determine any patterns that repeat. If there are, you can alter your play to exploit this advantage. Biased wheels are not just hard to find, but even if you do, they are difficult to take advantage of. You would be required to have a mini-computer watching the wheel at least initially to find the bias, and modern casinos monitor their entire floor for any electronic device emitting a signal. Online is a different story of course, and many software applications exists that monitor online casino roulette wheels for biases. In order to become a master video poker player, there are a few things you need to know. The first is how to read a payout schedule, so you know the difference between short, partial play and full-pay versions. And second, you need to know the strategies for all the kinds of video poker games.

First we will discuss Pay Schedules, and once we’ve established everything you need to know about that topic, we’ll move onto Strategies for two challenging games, Deuces Wild and Joker's Wild.

PAY SCHEDULES

Typically, a 9/6 video poker game will hit the royal flush every 40,000 hands played, which is equivalent to approximately 80 to 100 hours of game time. Other games, such as the 8/5 will hit the royal flush every 45,000 hands, the 7/5's will hit each 50,000 hands, and the 6/5's will hit approximately every 70,000 hands played.

You should always bet the maximum number of coins that are allowed. For example, if you bet 5 coins, all winning hands are paid out multiplied by a factor of 5, except for the royal flush.

DEUCES WILD STRATEGIES

Full-pay Deuces Wild Versions will be 9/5's 9 coins for a straight flush and 5 coins for 4-of-a-kind.

You should not be reluctant to throw away your five cards. You want to make room for additional cards that could be deuces, and holding that Ace or King is not going to help you if the next hand coming up could be four or five sevens. This is why…

Most Jacks or Better players will throw away complete hands-5 cards only 3% of the time, while Deuces Wild players almost 20% of the time, which is approximately every fifth hand.

You should not keep two pairs. You should select one or the other, as 3-of-a-kind is the minimum scheduled payout. Inside straights should be held only if they present the best possible return from your initial five cards dealt. Therefore, a 5, 6, 8, 9 hand can produce a 7 or wild card in this video poker version.

Strategies for this game are determined by the number of deuces or absence of deuces that are dealt in your initial hand, and approximately every 5000 hands will hit four deuces. This is a secondary jackpot that will keep you in the game or allow you to pocket some winnings.

The excitement of all or nothing in Deuces makes it an awesome game to play. You can go for hours without seeing one Deuce, but then hit a Royal with Deuces, and four-of-a-kind is easy to get.

JOKER's WILD STRATEGIES

The full-pay Joker's Wild pay schedule will be 7/5 machines, 7 coins for a full house and 5 coins for a flush. There are two versions of the game out there: one returns money on a pair of Kings or better, while the other requires at least two pairs before there is a payout. This first game is obviously the more desirable full-pay version.

These strategies for Jokers, unlike Jacks, reflect the wild card, a 53-card deck, and the different payouts. If you do not hold the Joker, keep three cards to a royal over a pair of Aces or Kings because of the higher payout. You could catch another Ace or King and still be paid.

If three cards are consecutive cards for a straight flush, for example, the 5, 6, and 7 of hearts, discard other cards for the higher payback. If not consecutive, keep the small pair.

Don't be afraid to hold the Joker alone. More than 3% of the time, you won't be able to connect with a straight, flush, straight flush, or a high pair; however, holding the Joker only can give you four new cards, and a win.
