After everyone has put their minimum bet in the center of the table then the game will commence. The dealer will deal 5 cards faced down to each person. Everyone looks at their cards and you have to "call" to stay in the game, if you do not want to continue that you say "fold" and you will still lose your minimum bet. I recommend that you "call" first as you have nothing to lose. Then each person decides which cards you want to keep and which cards you want to throw away, that can be upto 5. Make sure you choose correctly which cards to discard as it is a huge part of the game. If you do not have anything at all then keep your highest card and throw the rest away. If you have a pair, keep them and discard the rest. If you have 4 cards to a straight or royal flush then go for it. The dealer will then give each player the same amount of cards that they discarded so that everyone now has 5 cards again. Hopefully, you will have been given some great cards which enables you to win . Then you go round the table saying whatever you want to do. Here are the three options :-

• Call - If you "call" it means that you do not want to raise anymore and that you have paid enough to stay in the game.
• Raise - If you "raise" then it means that you raise the bet by so much, a table can have a betting limit, but some do not. If you raise say $10, then everyone else on the table has to raise $10 also. If someone has raised before you then you must raise that amount before you raise any further. For instance Bob raised $50 before you, you put $80 in the pot, so therefore you have raised $30, Bob must put in $30 to stay in the game. Bob still may want to raise you even further if he is confident that he has a good enough hand.
• Fold - When you "fold" then you drop out of the game whatsoever, this should be done if you feel that the amount of money "raised" is not worth risking for the hand that you have. You will lose all chance of winning the pot but you do not have to add anything into the pot.

When all the raising is complete and everyone is happy everyone reveals their cards to each other and the pot is given to the winner. Here are all the way you can win ranked from highest to lowest :-

The inside bets
The inside bets are made up of specific numbers or combinations of numbers within the number layout, or along the border of it. Remember, the total of all of your bets must add up to at least the table minimum. Straight-up bet - this is the simple roulette bet. Choosing any one of the 38 numbers and putting your chips down on that number will give you a chance to win back at 35 to 1. Split bet - you can place a single bet on two different numbers if those numbers are beside each other on the table layout. To do so put your chips down on the line between them. This bet pays 17 to 1 if either of those numbers comes up. Street bet - This is a bet not unlike a split. It allows you to bet on three different numbers with the same bet. You can do this by placing chips on the outside of the row of numbers you want to bet on. So if you want to bet on the numbers 1, 2, and 3 all at once, put your chips down on the line that is the outside edge of the 3. This bet pays 11 to 1. Corner bet - another combination wager, the corner bet lets you bet on four adjoining numbers. Placing your chips at the point where four numbers meet will indicate you want a corner bet. This is sometimes referred to as a square bet. If any of the four numbers come up, you're paid 8 to 1. Five number bet - There is only one five number bet available, and as such, it's referred to as the five number bet. To make this bet place your chips at the intersection of 0 and 1 on the corner (not the corner that joins with two, but the other one) You can win if any of 0, 00, 1, 2, or 3 are hit. You are paid 6 to 1. This is the worst bet in all of roulette betting.

As per normal poker rules - playing and betting proceeds in a clockwise direction.
All Players must first ante before they receive their initial cards, except the $0.50/$1 game which has no ante.
There are five betting rounds in a complete game of Seven-Card Stud, not including the ante.
On the first round of betting, the Player with the lowest value door card "brings-in" and starts the betting - equal to at least half the minimum bet for the game. In proceeding rounds, the Player with the highest hand initiates the betting. If hands tie, the Player to the left of the dealer acts first.
Betting increments in the game determine the bets. In a game of $2 and $4 betting increments, the first two rounds of betting and raising are set at the lower level of $2, the other three rounds of betting and raising are set at the higher level of $4.
The exception to this rule is if any Player displays a pair with their 2 face-up cards on 4th Street. In this circumstance, all Players have the option to bet either the lower limit or the higher limit. If a Player bets the higher limit, then all subsequent raises must be made at the higher limit.
The maximum allowable number of bets per Player during any betting round is four. This includes a (1) bet, (2) raise, (3) re-raise, and (4) cap. The term cap is used to describe the 3rd raise in a round since betting is then capped and can't be raised further. Once capped, Players will have only the option of calling or folding.
In betting rounds where Players have folded, the first active Player left of the Disc/Dealer is first to act.
