In front of you there would be the baccarat caller. He is the casino employee that oversees the game. He knows the exact rules and announces the moves made during the game. The caller tells players when they must hit and stand; he collects commissions and informs players on their status during the session.To the callers left and right there's a dealer standing. He is responsible for the players sitting at his side of the baccarat table. The dealer transfers cash money into chips for players and players can ask him for any kind of help. You can ask the dealer for a pen and paper to keep track on your bets, you may request from him a copy of the table's rules of baccarat and much more. On the baccarat layout there is also a spot for the commission, which is a 5% of each winning Banker-bet you make. For example, when you win on a $30 Banker bet then the caller would place $1.5 in chips on the commission spot in front of you. This is made to remind you, in an elegant way, that you owe the house the 5% of your winningbet.

Roulette Tables:
There are two standard styles of roulette tables found in American casinos. One is the standard table, which has one betting layout with the roulette wheel at one end; the other, called the double-end table, has two layouts with the wheel in the center between them. Roulette Layout:
The layout is a multicolored design printed on green baize that covers the players' side of the table and forms the betting section. The main section of the design is comprised of 36 numbered rectangular spaces arranged in three long columns of 12 spaces each. The spaces at the head of the columns are numbered 1, 2, 3 and are nearest the wheel. The numbering continues in sequence across the columns, ending with 34, 35 and 36 at the foot columns farthest from the wheel. Directly below these numbers are three blank spaces. A chip placed on one of these indicates that the player is betting on the 12 numbers on the long column directly above the space on which the chip rests. Roulette Balls:
The balls used are made of ivory or synthetic plastic. They vary in size from ½ inch to ¾ inch in diameter. Wheel checks or chips:
The standard roulette table employs 5, 6 or 7 sets of wheel checks (usually called chips) Each set is differently colored, each consists of 300 chips and there is one set for each player. The color of the chips indicates the player, not the value of the chips. For larger valued chips, in some instances they will actually have a color that indicates value. Roulette Wheels:

The French or European wheel, which has 36 numbers and only the single 0, is found mostly in European and South American casinos. The American wheels used in the United States and the Caribbean islands are, except for the double 00, similar in construction to the French wheels. The actual roulette wheels are made up of two separate parts - the table, which is stationary, and the wheel itself, which is movable and manually rotated by the croupier.

As a player, you place an opening bet and the dealer will deal two cards. The object of the game is to bet on the likelihood that the rank of a third card is going to fall between the first two. If it does fall between, you win. If it doesn't, you lose. So far, it's too simple. This is where the "raise" bet comes in and it's based on the "spread". Spread is the number of card values that lie between the two initial cards. The value of any card from 2 to 10 counts at face value, a jack counts as 11, a queen as 12, a king as 13, and an ace counts as 14. A couple of examples are worthwhile. Let's say the dealer deals a 7 and a 10. What's the spread? Since 8 and 9 fall between the 7 and 10, the spread is 2. Ok, let's say the next hand plays a 4 and a 5. The spread? Since the cards are consecutive, no cards fall between 4 and 5, it's called a "tie", you keep your money and the hand is over. The interesting part of Red Dog is betting on the spread.
