Dealer Roll
In front of you there would be the baccarat caller. He is the casino employee that oversees the game. He knows the exact rules and announces the moves made during the game. The caller tells players when they must hit and stand; he collects commissions and informs players on their status during the session. To the callers left and right there's a dealer standing. He is responsible for the players sitting at his side of the baccarat table. The dealer transfers cash money into chips for players and players can ask him for any kind of help. You can ask the dealer for a pen and paper to keep track on your bets, you may request from him a copy of the table's rules of baccarat and much more. On the baccarat layout there is also a spot for the commission, which is a 5% of each winning Banker-bet you make. For example, when you win on a $30 Banker bet then the caller would place $1.5 in chips on the commission spot in front of you. This is made to remind you, in an elegant way, that you owe the house the 5% of your winningbet. Pass LineA pass line bet is a bet placed before the come out roll (i.e. the first roll of the dice in a new craps round) A wager on the pass line wins immediately if the come out roll is 7 or 11 (naturals), and loses if the come out roll is 2, 3, or 12 (craps numbers) If any other number (4,5, 6, 8, 9, or 10) is rolled, that number becomes "the point." If the shooter rolls the point again before rolling a 7, your pass line bet wins. If the shooter rolls a 7 before rolling the point again, your pass line bet loses. Don't Pass LineA don't pass line bet is essentially the reverse of a pass line bet, and is alsoplaced before the come out roll. If the shooter rolls 3 or 12 on the come outroll, a don't pass line bet wins immediately. If, however, the come out rollis 7 or 11, don't pass line bets lose. If the come out roll is 2, a don't passline bet is returned to the player in a push. If the come out roll is 4, 5, 6,8, 9, or 10, that number becomes the point. Once the point has been established, don't pass line bets win if the shooter rolls a 7 before rolling the point again. If the shooter rolls the point again before rolling a 7, don't pass line betslose. ComeA come bet is placed before any roll of the dice, once a point has been established by the come out roll. Come bets win immediately if the shooter's next roll is 7 or 11, and lose if the roll is 2, 3, or 12. If the shooter rolls 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, that number becomes "the come point." If the shooter rolls the come point again before rolling a 7, the come bet wins. Don't ComeA don't come bet is essentially the opposite of a come bet. Don't come bets winimmediately when the shooter's next roll is 3 or 12, and lose if the roll is7 or 11. If the shooter rolls a 2, the bet will be returned to the player ina push. After the come point is established, don't come bets win if 7 is rolledand lose if the come point is rolled. OddsAn odds bet is a "back up" bet on an original pass line, don't pass line, come,or don't come bet. Gold Club allows odds bets of three times your original bets. HardwayA hardway bet is a bet that the shooter will roll either a 4, 6, 8, or 10 as doubles (2+2, 3+3, 4+4, or 5+5) before rolling a 7. Rolling a number by doubles is said to be rolling the number "the hard way." -Pai Gow Poker is a variation of the Chinese domino game gai gow. Pai gow poker is played with a 53 card deck, including a joker. Pai Gow Poker is played one on one, the player against the dealer, each competing to make the best possible hands. After placing an initial bet, both player and dealer receive seven cards. The object of the game is for the player to split (or set) the seven dealt cards into two hands - a five-card High hand, and a two-card Low hand. The cards must be set in such a way that the five-card hand has a higher poker rank than the two-card hand. For example, the player's hand is: 6,7,8,9,10,A,A. The player sets the pair of Aces as the Low hand, and 6,7,8,9,10 (straight) as the High hand. The dealer's hand is: 2,2,2,A,K,4,5. The dealer sets the Ace and King as the Low hand, and 2,2,2,4,5 (three of a kind) as the High hand. The player beats both the dealer's High and Low hands, thus winning the round. The hands are ranked according to standard poker rules, with the exception that an A-2-3-4-5 straight is the second highest straight after A-K-Q-J-10. The only real difference between Pai Gow Poker hand ranks and standard poker hand ranks is that a five-Aces hand (four Aces and a Joker) beats a royal flush, and it is the highest hand in the game. By the way, the best Low hand is a pair of Aces. After the player finished arranging his/her hands, the dealer arranges his/her hands according to a set of fixed rules (the House Way) The player's two hands (High and Low) are then compared with the dealer's two hands (High and Low) to determine the winner. In order to win, both the player's High and Low hands must have a higher poker rank than both the dealer's High and Low hands (according to the Pai Gow Poker Hand Ranks table) Dealer Rolled Bet | Dealer Same Casino | Dealer Player Betting | Dealer Poker | Dealer Play Player
