Baccarat is played with eight or six complete decks of cards. The cards are shuffled by the dealer, and then placed in a special box called the "shoe."The deal rotates among the players by passing the shoe counterclockwise around the table, and each "Player" alternate being the "Banker". This rules may be intimidating at first, but there are always "Callers" at the table to assist you, and if you do not want to deal, you may pass the shoe to the next player. The same person will keep dealing as long as the "banker" hand keeps winning. The player with the shoe represents the banker-hand, although the player takes no additional risk and the casino remains the banker. Even though the player dealing is acting as the Banker, he is not obligated to bet on the Banker's hand.Four cards are dealt face-down: - First card to the player's hand. The dealer takes a card from the"dealing player" and passes it to the player who wagered the largest amount on "player's hand".
- Second card to the banker's hand - placed next to the shoe.
- Third card to the player's hand.
- The fourths - to the banker's hand
Then player who got two cards (he wagered the largest amount!) takesfirst look at the cards - then cards are passed to the dealer who announces thehand value and places cards to the special area on the table markedas "PLAYERS".Then the same procedure with the bankers hand - player who acts as abanker looks at the cards and passes them to the dealer. Then cards are placed on "BANKERS".

If you play enough roulette you may come across the term charting a table. This is an expression used by more experienced players and it can pertain to one of two things. - Analyis of a table, based on data derived from watching a table or from the digital roulette score sign, or
- Physical notation of the table decisions, which may take place after the evaluation stage noted above.
In either case, you are attempting to glean information from the table about its active trends, so that data flow path can be analysed and acted upon. Notation, however, can also be useful for an expanded evaluation after the session. But what's the point of doing this if every table result is an independent event? The future is an unknown at any table, right? True. But most tables tend to incline in a certain direction, and that trend can hang on for quite some time. It comes down to this : you can be oblivious to the table trend, or you can customise your play around it. The former is gambling. The latter is gambling to win. As you can well imagine, I advocate the latter. Some players cling to the belief that all tables are equal, and so it makes no difference which table you choose. A table that shows five zeros out of the twenty numbers on its digital score sign is equal to one that shown none? Would you light a torch to see the sun?

Basic Rules of Play The dice are tossed from one end of the crapstable to the other making sure that both dice bounce off of the back wall of thetable.
Moving in a clockwise direction, players take turns rolling the dice. TheShooter's first role is called the "Come Out" role. This Shootercontinues to role as long as he or she makes winning roles.
The "Come Out" role is very important in craps in that it establishesthe Shooter's "Point." "The Point" is the number that theShooter must role again before he or she roles a 7. A 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10establishes the point. Rolling a 7, 11, 2, 3 or 12 on the "Come Out"role results in the dice being passed to the next Shooter.
The Puck - This two-sided disc indicates whether or not a game is inprogress and if a "Point" has been established. The puck displays"OFF" and remains on the "Don't Come Bar" until a"Point" has been established by the shooter. The dealer then turns thepuck to the "ON" side and moves it to the numbered location on thecraps table to denote the "Point" number for this shooter.
Betting On Craps
Pass Line Bet - A simple and basic even money bet. You are betting thatthe first role of the dice will add up to 7 or 11. On this bet, a 2, 3, or 12loses the bet. Any other number establishes the "Point." The"Point" number has to be rolled again before a 7 comes up to win, otherwise, the bet is lost.
