Keno players have to make the decision when they start to play, between choosing a small number of number, and choosing a large number of numbers. The sharp mind is going to notice that the odds have to change with the number of numbers the player pick? If you pick just two numbers, isn't there a better chance of hitting 100% of those numbers than if you had picked 10? In actuality yes, but as payouts fluctuate with the number of numbers picked, the casinos compensate for any weak mathematics. You don't get paid nearly as well for hitting all of your 3 numbers, as you would had you hit all of your 10 numbers. Keno really isn't for gamblers who like to win a bit at a time and build up their winnings, but rather for the players seeking some entertainment, and hoping to get lucky and strike it rich in one bet. If you're looking for a more consistent (but smaller wins) moneymaker, I would suggest blackjack or craps. Sure enough, the games that have the highest house edge are usually the most amusing because they offer more action for you dollar, but less frequent chances for a win. So, if I haven't answered your questions pertaining to a keno strategy, follow this: enjoy yourself to get the most out of your dollar. At "real world" casinos the baccarat pit is generally found off to the side away from the rest of the games in a room typically furnished more elegantly that the rest of the casino. The furniture is more expensive, the lighting more subtle, and the dealers will be either tuxedo-clad or wearing elegant or understated black. In large casinos full of high-rollers the baccarat area is serious business, and is usually played for serious money. (But don't be intimidated by all of this if you're like most of us, smaller wagers are treated with the same respect as bets placed by the high rollers, and online baccarat is a different story.)Mini-baccarat is a newer version of the game retaining all the rules and excitement of the regular game, and is the type of baccarat played at online casinos. The only difference is that there are fewer players at the table and in mini-baccarat the casino dealer always deals. With some of the best odds at any casino and the ease of play, you have a much better chance of winning than at many other casino games.Baccarat; or, more properly, "baccarat punto" or "punto banco" is one of a family of games that includes baccarat banque and chemin de fer. The element that distinguishes these games from one another is who is permitted to play the role of the bank. In the U.K. and in North America, only the baccarat punto version, where the house plays the role of banker, is found. Baccarat punto is the most common, so common that when we use the term "baccarat" it is typically assumed to be referring to this game.Online baccarat is a fast paced game of chance. Baccarat has a low casino edge, and as a result you have a much better chance of winning more over time than if you were for example feeding coins into a slot machine, or playing roulette. Online baccarat also has an advantage that unlike other games like blackjack and craps where making a mistake can cost you dearly, the casino's edge is fixed and you can't make it worse by making a stupid mistake. The game has strict rules that must be followed but you as a player need not even ever really learn them (many don't, and just enjoy the game relying on the dealer to inform them if they have won or lost) The casino dealer is paid to know the rules, direct the players when to make bets, collect losing bets and pay off winners, and even deal the cards (in mini-baccarat) In online play, you simply bet on one of three outcomes (banker, tie or player) and let the game play itself out. In an attempt to bring something new and different to the slot player, some variations on the basic slot machines have been introduced. Some of these include:Progressive machines: You begin by placing a bet on the table. You will then receive two cards face up. The dealer will receive one card face up and one face down. The down card is called the "hole card" and will remain face down until you have completed your play. If the dealer up card is an Ace, the insurance option will be offered. You may accept or decline this offer (see Insurance for details.) The dealer will then check for Blackjack (if the dealer's up-card is a 10-value card, the dealer hand will be checked without revealing the hole card.) If the dealer has Blackjack, play ends and your wager is lost, unless your hand also contains a Blackjack (resulting in a "push" or tie) If there is no dealer Blackjack and you have a Blackjack, the dealer will not take any hits. You automatically win US$1.50 for every US$1 of your original wager. If no Blackjack is present, you must decide whether to keep your hand as is ("stand"), or take additional cards in an attempt to increase the value of your hand. The decision to take an additional card is called a "hit" or a "draw." There is no limit to the number of hits you can take. If you "bust", by going over 21 while taking a hit, you lose and play is over. When you are done taking hits, you must "stand" and await the results of the dealer's hand. Now it is the dealer's turn. First, the "hole card" will be revealed. If the dealer's hand totals 17 to 20, the dealer must stand. If the value is 16 or less, the dealer must take hits until the value of the hand is 17 or higher. If the dealer "busts" while taking additional cards, the dealer hand automatically loses. If the value of your hand is closer to 21 than that of the dealer, you win an amount equal to your original bet. If the dealer's hand is better, you lose your bet. If the hands are of equal value the deal is a push and your money is returned. After each game has been played, the used cards are shuffled back into the deck. Gambling can be fun and frustrating; sometimes, it can be both at the same time. So, just what is this activity that has fascinated us for thousands of years? Here's one definition of casino gambling: speculation on an event that is uncertain and that involves placing at risk a possession in the hope of achieving more of a better possession. People have gambled for thousands of years, and today people gamble more than ever before. It's fun and exciting to pick your favorite numbers and imagine what you would do with a $10 million win! It's a good feeling when you first look at your cards and see a blackjack. Winning at casino brings a thrill like no other. On the other hand, losing can drive you into a deep hole in many ways. It simply boils down to one of our favorite sayings, "Winning is a skill and losing is bad luck. "Our goal in creating these online guides is to show you what games are available, how to play them, and, most importantly, how to play them skillfully. We believe there is no such thing as a bad player, only untrained ones. All games have built-in advantages for the house. This house advantage, or edge, along with a never-ending source of house funds, makes gambling a very tough sport for any player. On the other hand, players can and do win. You too can win, and win often, when you play correctly in a casino . We'll not only show you how to play correctly, but also tell you where you can play. Just remember there are some good games and some not-so-good games. By not-so-good games we mean those with odds that are much too high and should be avoided. There are other games in an online casino with bets that give the house a less than 1% advantage, and you should know and play these. Play Hand Bet | Play Coin | Play Dice | Play Games | Play Casino
