Role Bet Point

Basic Rules of Play
The dice are tossed from one end of the crapstable to the other making sure that both dice bounce off of the back wall of thetable.

Moving in a clockwise direction, players take turns rolling the dice. TheShooter's first role is called the "Come Out" role. This Shootercontinues to role as long as he or she makes winning roles.

The "Come Out" role is very important in craps in that it establishesthe Shooter's "Point." "The Point" is the number that theShooter must role again before he or she roles a 7. A 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10establishes the point. Rolling a 7, 11, 2, 3 or 12 on the "Come Out"role results in the dice being passed to the next Shooter.

The Puck - This two-sided disc indicates whether or not a game is inprogress and if a "Point" has been established. The puck displays"OFF" and remains on the "Don't Come Bar" until a"Point" has been established by the shooter. The dealer then turns thepuck to the "ON" side and moves it to the numbered location on thecraps table to denote the "Point" number for this shooter.

Betting On Craps

The winner in this competition is European Roulette, which has half the house edge of the American counterparts, and, with a certain rule in effect, that (lower) edge can be cut in half yet again. But we are not without hope, for many of the online casinos offer the European version, although the ones with the wagering options printed in French may take some getting used to. And, there are some casinos in the U.S. which offer European Roulette, but these usually have very high bet minimums. One exception to this is the Monte Carlo casino in Las Vegas, which offers European Roulette with $10 minimums during non-peak periods. The house advantage for American Roulette is 5.26%; for the European version 2.70%, and if the latter has the En Prison rule, that edge is reduced to a very respectable 1.35%. This rule allows you either to surrender half your wager, or leave it there for the next spin. (Your wager is in fact held captive) European Roulette, with En Prison is very popular in Europe with systems players, for its leisurely pace and low edge are very appealing. The American version generally moves faster, which is another drawback that compounds the penalty of the higher edge, for it compels players to react faster, to the benefit of the house. But the American versions are not beyond redemption; I just want to stress the importance of seeking out the European version when circumstances allow. Terminology of European roulette
French-style (European) Roulette, is the version played on many cruise ships, in most casinos in Europe, and in a small but growing number of gaming establishments in the United States. If you find yourself playing at one of these tables, expect to find French terms on the table layout and French words being spoken by the croupiers. French terms for roulette bets and other common expressions in this game are found below.

Hold the cards that can potentially give you the highest payout.

Click the draw button to get your new cards. If your cards make up a winning hand you will be offered an opportunity to double your money or to collect your winnings.

If you have won, the game will offer you an additional opportunity to increase your winnings by participating in a doubling phase.

The allow double option in the otions menu of the game, is on by default. This toggles the doubling option on or off, so you can choose the option you want. If this option is not turned on the game will not allow you to double on a winning hand.

The doubling option gives you a chance to increase your winnings. After completing a winning hand you will be given the chance to double the payout, or to collect your winnings. The double and collect buttons will be highlighted. To collect your winnings, click the collect button. The game will then be finished and you will have a chance to play again. If you want to try and win even more, click the double button.

When you click the double button, the cards will be removed from the screen and a further five cards will replace them. The dealers' card will be exposed, while the remaining four cards will be left face down. Select one of the face down cards by clicking on it. The four cards will be revealed and the card you selected will be highlighted. If the card you chose has a denomination greater than that of the dealers' card, you will win an amount double that of your original payout. You will then be given the chance to double your payout again or to collect your winnings. If your chosen card is of an equal denomination, it is a tie, and you will have a chance to collect your original winnings or to double up. If the card you chose is of a lesser denomination, you lose and will not receive any payout.

Once you have collected your winnings you can begin another hand by clicking on the deal button.

Odd or Even - similar to the red black bet, this even money bet is based on whether the number will be odd or even. Since 0 does not count as either, there are 36 numbers, an even count between odd and even. Place this bet by putting your chips in the middle of the square marked 'even' or the square marked 'odd', which will usually reside on either side of the black / red betting area. Low or high - this bet lets you predict whether you think the next number to come up will be part of the range from 1 to 18, or part of the range from 19 to 36. This is an even money bet. To place this bet put your chips in the boxes with the associated number range printed in them. Columns - at one end of the set of 38 numbers are boxes with the words '2 to 1' written in them. Each box is part of a column of numbers (if you extend a line up the body of the inside of the betting area) If a number from within the column you are betting on comes up you win, and are paid 2 to 1. Dozens - a bet very similar to the columns bet, dozens lets you place a bet on either the first dozen numbers (1-12), the second dozen (13-24), or the third dozen (25-36) To place this bet find the rectangular areas located in between the first outside bets (red/black, odd/even, etc) and the inside board spread. These will usually be labeled with the words 1st 12, 2nd 12, 3rd 12. The bet pays 2 to 1.
