Roulette Two Cards

Pai Gow Poker is a variation of the Chinese domino game gai gow. Pai gow poker is played with a 53 card deck, including a joker. Pai Gow Poker is played one on one, the player against the dealer, each competing to make the best possible hands. After placing an initial bet, both player and dealer receive seven cards. The object of the game is for the player to split (or set) the seven dealt cards into two hands - a five-card High hand, and a two-card Low hand. The cards must be set in such a way that the five-card hand has a higher poker rank than the two-card hand. For example, the player's hand is: 6,7,8,9,10,A,A. The player sets the pair of Aces as the Low hand, and 6,7,8,9,10 (straight) as the High hand. The dealer's hand is: 2,2,2,A,K,4,5. The dealer sets the Ace and King as the Low hand, and 2,2,2,4,5 (three of a kind) as the High hand. The player beats both the dealer's High and Low hands, thus winning the round. The hands are ranked according to standard poker rules, with the exception that an A-2-3-4-5 straight is the second highest straight after A-K-Q-J-10. The only real difference between Pai Gow Poker hand ranks and standard poker hand ranks is that a five-Aces hand (four Aces and a Joker) beats a royal flush, and it is the highest hand in the game. By the way, the best Low hand is a pair of Aces. After the player finished arranging his/her hands, the dealer arranges his/her hands according to a set of fixed rules (the House Way) The player's two hands (High and Low) are then compared with the dealer's two hands (High and Low) to determine the winner. In order to win, both the player's High and Low hands must have a higher poker rank than both the dealer's High and Low hands (according to the Pai Gow Poker Hand Ranks table)

• High Card - This is used when no one at all on the table has any other winning hand such as a pair or better. The winner will be judged on who has the highest card, if 2 or more people have the same high card then they will move onto the 2nd highest card and so on until someone wins. This is also used if in a game some people have the same winning hand. For example, if Cheryl and Nigel were playing and they both revealed a pair of 8's then they would see who had the highest cards.
• Pair - When a player has two cards the same such as two 8's. Ties are broken using the 'High Card'.
• Two Pairs - A hand consisting of two pairs such as two 8's and two 10's. Ties are broken using the 'High Card'.
• Three Of A Kind - Three cards that are the same numberwise. No need for the high card as there is only four of each value per deck.
• Straight - All 5 cards consecutive but not in the same suit. For example, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. If two people have a straight then the highest straight wins. If more than one person has the same straight then they split the pot between them.
• Flush - Any 5 cards of the same suit, the numbers do not matter but if more than one person has a flush then the one containing the highest card wins.
• Full House - Two cards of the same value and three cards of the same value such as 7, 7, Queen, Queen, Queen. The highest wins.
• Four Of A Kind - Four cards of the same numerical value such as four 10's. No need for the high card as there is only four of each value per deck.
• Straight Flush - Five cards of the same suit in numerical order such as 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 of hearts. The higher the straight the better.
• Royal Flush - Five cards of the same suit, MUST be 10, Jack, Queen, King, Ace.

Roulette Tables:
There are two standard styles of roulette tables found in American casinos. One is the standard table, which has one betting layout with the roulette wheel at one end; the other, called the double-end table, has two layouts with the wheel in the center between them. Roulette Layout:
The layout is a multicolored design printed on green baize that covers the players' side of the table and forms the betting section. The main section of the design is comprised of 36 numbered rectangular spaces arranged in three long columns of 12 spaces each. The spaces at the head of the columns are numbered 1, 2, 3 and are nearest the wheel. The numbering continues in sequence across the columns, ending with 34, 35 and 36 at the foot columns farthest from the wheel. Directly below these numbers are three blank spaces. A chip placed on one of these indicates that the player is betting on the 12 numbers on the long column directly above the space on which the chip rests. Roulette Balls:
The balls used are made of ivory or synthetic plastic. They vary in size from ½ inch to ¾ inch in diameter. Wheel checks or chips:
The standard roulette table employs 5, 6 or 7 sets of wheel checks (usually called chips) Each set is differently colored, each consists of 300 chips and there is one set for each player. The color of the chips indicates the player, not the value of the chips. For larger valued chips, in some instances they will actually have a color that indicates value. Roulette Wheels:
Read more about the history of the roulette wheel in our roulette history section. There are two styles of roulette wheels. The American wheel has 36 numbers and the signs 0 and 00. The French or European wheel, which has 36 numbers and only the single 0, is found mostly in European and South American casinos. The American wheels used in the United States and the Caribbean islands are, except for the double 00, similar in construction to the French wheels. The actual roulette wheels are made up of two separate parts - the table, which is stationary, and the wheel itself, which is movable and manually rotated by the croupier.

At "real world" casinos the baccarat pit is generally found off to the side away from the rest of the games in a room typically furnished more elegantly that the rest of the casino. The furniture is more expensive, the lighting more subtle, and the dealers will be either tuxedo-clad or wearing elegant or understated black. In large casinos full of high-rollers the baccarat area is serious business, and is usually played for serious money. (But don't be intimidated by all of this if you're like most of us, smaller wagers are treated with the same respect as bets placed by the high rollers, and online baccarat is a different story.)Mini-baccarat is a newer version of the game retaining all the rules and excitement of the regular game, and is the type of baccarat played at online casinos. The only difference is that there are fewer players at the table and in mini-baccarat the casino dealer always deals. With some of the best odds at any casino and the ease of play, you have a much better chance of winning than at many other casino games.Baccarat; or, more properly, "baccarat punto" or "punto banco" is one of a family of games that includes baccarat banque and chemin de fer. The element that distinguishes these games from one another is who is permitted to play the role of the bank. In the U.K. and in North America, only the baccarat punto version, where the house plays the role of banker, is found. Baccarat punto is the most common, so common that when we use the term "baccarat" it is typically assumed to be referring to this game.Online baccarat is a fast paced game of chance. Baccarat has a low casino edge, and as a result you have a much better chance of winning more over time than if you were for example feeding coins into a slot machine, or playing roulette. Online baccarat also has an advantage that unlike other games like blackjack and craps where making a mistake can cost you dearly, the casino's edge is fixed and you can't make it worse by making a stupid mistake. The game has strict rules that must be followed but you as a player need not even ever really learn them (many don't, and just enjoy the game relying on the dealer to inform them if they have won or lost) The casino dealer is paid to know the rules, direct the players when to make bets, collect losing bets and pay off winners, and even deal the cards (in mini-baccarat) In online play, you simply bet on one of three outcomes (banker, tie or player) and let the game play itself out.

Roulette software comes in a variety of types with various features. Here we'll take a look at the different styles of software you may encounter, what features to look for, and how to know what is best for you. The first thing you need to decide is if you want to download roulette software to your home PC, or if you want to play through the Internet using a browser plug-in such as Shockwave or Flash. Downloadable roulette software lets you play offline, a bonus for those of us without high-speed Internet access or an unlimited account. In-browser games offer other unique features, such as the ability to play with other people, or to accumulate points and trade them in for prizes. When looking at browser based roulette software, try to find one that offers a bankroll that stays with you across sessions. This style of software is your smartest choice, as it will let you improve your game with practice. Without a real bankroll you can't truly tell if your strategy is working for you. Real money roulette software is a newer and very different form of the game. This software is most often a download package, but one which you need to be online to play, as the game connects to a central casino server when it starts up. This software is actually just a gateway into the game, which takes place on the server computer of the online casino. Real money roulette software allows you to play and win real cash from your home, so if you are a roulette fan and can't get enough, you should try playing online.
