Wheel Hand Highest
In an attempt to bring something new and different to the slot player, some variations on the basic slot machines have been introduced. Some of these include:Progressive machines: These multiple-coin machines do not payoff a set payoff rather the jackpot increases with each play. If no one has hit the jackpot for some time the jackpot can grow to gargantuan size. While the odds are small the payoff can be huge. One note, if playing at a casino and you are lucky enough to hit a big one, do not leave the machine. The machines are programmed to pay only a percentage in coins the rest of the winnings will be paid out by a check issued by the casino. Stay at the machine until a casino employee comes over to the machine, should you leave some scam artists are all too willing to quickly sit at the machine and claim that the payoff is theirs.Double or nothing machines: Some slots have added a wheel that can be played after a win. These doubling wheels are even bets, you have a 50/50 chance of doubling (or losing) your winnings. They do not change the house edge on the machine, but do add a bit of spice to the game that some players enjoy.Nudge machines: Have a light mounted on them that comes on occasionally. If on the player may move (nudge) a wheel forward or backward one location. Sometimes this is all that is required for a losing hand to become a winner. The house edge on these machines is generally the same as for regular slots.Wheel-of-Fortune Machines: These machines contain a wheel mounted on top of a slot machine and also a sizable progressive jackpot. When the winning symbols appears on the slot machine the wheel spins and the player has a chance at winning the wheel-of fortune jackpot.

Pair A single pair is the second lowest hand. This is when two cards have matched numerical value ace-ace being the highest hand two-two the lowest. If there are equal pairs when comparing hands then you compare the high cards of the matched hands.
Two Pair Two Pair is two cards of the same rank with two cards of a different rank. A pair of aces with a pair of kings is the highest two pair if the highest pair are equal when comparing hands then the low pair is matched if that is the same then the single card decides.
Three of a Kind Three of a kind is three cards of the same rank plus two other cards. When comparing hands the highest three set wins so A-A-A (the highest) beats all other Three of a kinds. This hand is also known as a set of trips.
Straight A straight is five cards in a numerical sequence 2-3-4-5-6, these cards can be of any suit. When comparing hands the highest card wins so A-K-Q-J-10 is the highest possible straight. An ace can be low or high but not in the middle, so A-2-3-4-5 is ok but Q-K-A-2-3 is not.
Flush A flush is made of any five cards which are the same suit (i.e. spades) when comparing hands the highest card is used to decide.
Full House A full house consists of a three of a kind and a pair. When comparing hands it is the highest three of a kind that decides. The highest full house is three aces and any other pair.

The roulette wheel is a masterfully laid out, and most often, a beautifully engineered piece of equipment. A perfect balance in design is needed so that the wheel does not have, or will not develop, any inconsistencies or biases. Many a hearty gambler has tried to seek out a 'biased wheel' in their day in an attempt to gain an advantage. Since roulette wheels like all well used pieces of equipment show some wear and tear after a while, it's possible to conceive of a wheel where the wear and tear produces certain number hits more often than chance would allow. If you find one of these you could easily exploit it and make some free money. Casinos know this of course, which is why it's next to impossible to find a biased roulette wheel. In fact, it's next to impossible to even test for one. In order to determine if a wheel has a bias you would need to have a computer watching it for a little while, and casinos don't take kindly to any computer mechanisms on the gaming floor. It's even rumored that casinos constantly scan the casino floor and their security systems pick up any digital device emitting a signal. I wouldn't put it past them. Our roulette wheel diagram clearly shows the distribution of numbers around the wheel.
