Roulette is somewhat unique amongst modern table games in that it employs a mechanical device as the key element of the game. This is the large and very distinct Roulette wheel, which is mounted horizontally on one end of the table. The hollow of the wheel has numbered pockets ranging from zero to thirty-six. Wagers in Roulette are placed on an area of the table marked with a pattern of boxes and numbers. This is called the game layout. You may place wagers on any particular number, any 4 adjacent numbers, a column or a 'dozens' bet. The wheel is used to determine the outcome of a game of Roulette. Once the bets have been placed the wheel is set spinning and a small (usually metal or ivory) ball is spun onto the wheel in the opposite direction to that of the spinning wheel. The ball will rapidly loose speed and eventually stop in one of the pockets. The number of the pocket is the winning number. Objective The game of Roulette is played by spinning a small ball around a wheel that contains thirty-seven numbered slots. When the wheel stops, the ball comes to rest in one of these slots. The object of Roulette is to correctly predict the slot in which the ball will land. By predicting the right number, you earn a payoff on your bet. The size of the payoff depends on how the bet was placed. Playing the Game There are two basic steps to follow to play a game of Roulette. First you must decide on which numbers or groups of numbers to bet on. You can do this by moving the mouse over the table felt and left clicking to deposit chips on the table. Right clicking will remove chips. You can place chips on individual numbers or on the borders shared by two or four numbers. Once you have decided upon your bet press the Spin button to start the game. The roulette wheel will spin and the ball will be placed on the wheel. It will soon come to rest in one of the numbered pockets on the wheel. If the number falls with in the range of any one of your bets then you have won. Refer to the Table Limits and Odds section to find out more about how much each kind of bet is worth.

If the shooter is winning, the dice are not passed on. The dice are only passed to the next player if the shooter sevens-out (rolls a seven) or decides not to continue rolling. In the Internet version of craps, the player loses if there is a seven-out and can end the game at any time provided there are no bets placed. Pass Line and Don't Pass Line bets are made on the shooter's "Come Out" roll. All other bets are placed after the come out, once a "point" has been determined, and work independent of the "pass line" and "don't pass" bets. 1) The Come Bet
Made any time after the initial "Come Out" roll when a shooter has a point to make, you win on the first roll of the come bet with a natural (7, 11) and lose on craps (2, 3, 12) Any other number that comes up is a come point. You win on a come bet if this number is rolled again before a 7. 2) The Don't Come Bet
Opposite of the come bet, except the 12 is a tie. Made any time after the initial "Come Out" roll when a shooter has a point to make, you lose on the first roll of the don't come bet with a natural (7, 11) and win on craps (2, 3) Any other number that comes up is a come point. You lose on a don't come bet if this number is rolled again before a 7. 3) Odds Bet
You can accompany your Pass Line, Come, Don't Pass, or Don't Come bet with an additional bet called an "odds bet". Once point has been established, the odds bet is popular because it pays "true odds" on your bet. True odds are based on comparing the chance of your number being rolled before the 7, are paid out accordingly. To illustrate, using the True Odds Chart, you can see that the 7's chance of coming up is twice that of the 4. When you place an odds bet on the four, it will pay 2 to 1, the true odds.

There are lots of different versions of poker but most have a lot of similarities the first is the object of the game. Which is to win the centre pot of money. Poker is Played with a communal pot and the pot contains all money contributed during a hand, including antes which are used to seed the pot before each hand begins.

All poker games consist of 52 cards from four different suits, which are clubs, hearts, diamonds and spades of thirteen cards each. The thirteen cards rank from lowest to highest as 2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10 then jack, queen, king, ace (in many variations ace can also rank as the lowest card)

A poker hand begins with the dealer dealing out cards to each player (the amount varies with the type of poker being played) The game moves round clock-wise from the dealer the first player has two options check (also known as pass equivalent to a bet of $0) or bet. The second player can either call (a nonzero bet that matches the previous bet), check (a zero bet that can only be done if there were no previous bets on the table), bet or raise (a non-zero bet that all successive players must match) or to fold which is done when the player does not wish to match the previous bets made. A player that folds forfeits their interest in the pot. Betting proceeds until either all bets have been called or all but one player has folded. The poker rules for the specific game may limit the number of raises allowed. However if only two players are in the pot they can keep raising each other indefinitely. At the end of the last betting round, all players who are left in the hand have a showdown in which the player with the best hand is awarded the pot. It is normally the player who made the last bet or raise to show his hand first in the showdown. The other remaining players then show their hands in a clockwise fashion. Players that have folded do not need to show their hands, players that know they are beaten can just concede the pot. Very often a hand won't reach the showdown stage as all the other players fold before it reaches that stage.

If two hands are exactly equal with all five cards matching then it is a tie with the pot being split evenly among the winning hands. Suits are not used to distinguish between the hands.
