Here's some advice to play the slot machines 1. Always load up a progressive machine. The progressives don't pay as often or as many of the small winning combinations that simple machines do, so you are actually playing for the jackpot only. In that case, you have to load them up in order to get the jackpot. Read the payout table! 2. Pay attention to the sound of the casino. Notice which slot machines are hitting and which aren't. oftentimes there will seem to be "hot" carousels and cold ones. Follow like sheep to the hot ones. 3. Play the progressives with the highest jackpots. It makes sense to seek the greatest reward if you're willing to take the progressive risk. As the change person for help in locating top jackpots. 4. Stake out a seemingly hot carousel and spend an evening (between dinner and second show time) watching how the machines do. Once you've seen enough, go to sleep. Then come back in the very early hours of the morning and hit the ones that have been played hard but haven't hit yet! 5. Resist the temptation to move up the pay scale when you're losing. Because slots have the worst odds, increasing your level of play can be the worst bet in the house! If you must keep playing, get off the progressives and find some simple nonprogressive (flat top) machines. 6. When you finally hit a jackpot¡ just sit there. Take a deep breath. Don't mistakenly pull the handle again or touch a button. Most jackpots, especially those that are $1,000 or more, are paid by an attendant who will come over to verify your win and pay you off in cash. There is one way to almost guarantee yourself a good time, satiate your appetite for slots, and possibly even come out ahead ,

The red/black system is a form of Martingale (double up on successive bets) system and is one of the better known roulette systems around. Your bets for this system are on either red or black, with your pay out 1 to 1 (i.e. double your money for a win) It is worth bearing in mind that your chances of winning each bet are just under 50/50 (remember the 0 and 00 that gives the casino its advantage)You begin by choosing a colour and placing your bet on either red or black. Be sure to make your first bet a small one. If you win, keep your winnings and place your starting bet again. If you lose, double your stake and place a bet on the same colour again. If this bet wins, your net result after two bets is the same as if you had one you initial bet. Keep your winnings and begin with your starting stake again. If your second bet loses, double your stake again, and continue doing this until your colour does come up, at which point your net win from the string of bets will be the same as if you won your starting bet.Now you know why it is important to start with a small bet. It doesn’t take too many losing bets in a row for your bet amount to climb to quite a big number. But keep your nerve, the key is being prepared to continue to double up until you have a win. Also be very aware of the table bet limit - if you reach this before you have a win then you stand to lose a considerable amount.

The popularity of Poker and in particular the variant called Texas Holdem has grown very rapidly over the last several years. The games reputation has benefited off of the publicity provided by all the televised games on cable TV such as the WPT, WSOP, and celebrity poker to name a few.
Additionally easy access to poker via the Internet, the ease of learning how to play the game, and the exiting entertainment it offers players of all skill levels has played an important role in its recent attractiveness.
You may have heard the holdem cliché which states it's a game which takes only a few minutes to learn but a lifetime to master. Well hopefully we can kick start your desire to play and give you the tools needed with a brief synopsis about the game.
Texas hold'em poker can be played between as few as two players, but more commonly you will find tables of 9 or 10 players. One player at the table is designated as dealer and a dealer button indicates this position. Game play starts to the left of this dealer and will move clockwise around the table. At the completion of each hand the button or dealer also moves clockwise around the table.
Prior to dealing the two players to the left of the dealer ante chips to sweeten the pot and keep the game moving. These players and their ante are referred to as the blinds. The first one is the small blind the second is the big blind. The small blind is ½ of the big blind and the big blind will be equal to the minimum bet.
To start the hand each player is dealt two cards face down. These cards called the hole cards are private to each player. Each player then looks at his or her two cards and calls, bets, raises, checks, or folds according to their hand strength. If a player raises the following players must then match that raise by calling the raise or folding.
After this round of betting has been completed the dealer will burn a card or remove a card from play then deal three community cards face up. These cards are referred to as the flop and each player may use them in the creation of their best 5 cards. Another round of wagering ensues.
The dealer then burns another card and deals one more community card face up. This card is referred to as the turn or 4th street. After this another round of wagering ensues.
If multiple players still remain the dealer then burns another card and deals one final community card face up. This card is referred to as the river or 5th street. After this another round of wagering ensues. After this final card the player with the best possible hand constructed of the seven available wins the money in the pot.
That should give you a very basic understanding of how the game is played. More than likely as a result of seeing the game on TV you already had that knowledge and are now ready to try the game out for yourself. Two hands are dealt in which you have to bet whether one will win, or whether they will come out at a tie. A tie bet usually pays 8 to 1. It is somewhat like betting on Red and black in roulette. The only difference between betting on the Bank and a Player is that when you bet on the bank you are taxed 5%. This is because statistically it has been established that the bank will win three to four more hands than the player. The actual game play goes something as follows. The person dealing deals out two cards, face down, and then deals the person with the larger Player bet another two cards. This person then looks at the cards, and then returns them to the player who is dealing. The dealer then turns both hands over, and one of the casino dealers will then announce the results and the winner. A third card may be dealt in some instances, following strict rules of the casinos. But the baccarat rules doesn't allow dealing more than three cards. These are the basic baccarat rules. Of course there is more to it, such as when to deal a third card, but these decision are not important for actually playing the game, since they are enforced decisions. You cannot affect the game's course since it is dictated by the rules of baccarat, which leaves players with little to do but to place the right bet.
